Antonio Conte Talks About Coutinho’s Deal To Barcelona

“We are talking about a world-class player, and for sure his transfer will affect Liverpool in the coming matches,” Conte said in a press conference to the British outlet Metro.

“I think this question should be directed to the management of Chelsea, not to me, the manager, but with this transfer fee, I doubt Chelsea can compete,” Conte’s answer after he was asked about the possibility of Chelsea competing with clubs that have spent a lot of money in recent months on signing players.

Then Antonio Conte was asked about Ross Barkley’s arrival to the Stamford Bridge and he said”I think he’s a good player, we did not pay much for him and now he has to look for himself again and work harder and get ready to play after his injury.”

Knowing that Ross Barkley was going to sign with Chelsea last summer, but he changed his mind few hours the deadline of the transfer day and then his price reduced almost 50% due to his contract expiring in 6 months.

Knowing that Ross Barkley was injured for around 7 months with Everton FC, and didn’t play a single match with them yet.
