Arsenal Leaves The FA Cup From The First Round

Arsenal have got knocked out of the FA Cup round of 32 after losing to  Nottingham Forest 4-2 in a very disappointing match with a terrible performance.

Nottingham Forest have scored two goals in the first half by defensive mistakes, one from a free kick and one from a wrong clearance by Rob Holding, and in the second half, Nottingham Forest scored twice through penalties to secure a historical qualification over Arsenal.

Arsenal was able to score by its captain, Per Mertesacker, in the first half, and then by their striker, Danny Welbeck, on the 79th minute to make the score 3-2, and Arsenal just needed one goal to secure at least a second leg match at the Emirates Stadium after two weeks, but  Nottingham Forest socred the fourth goal that killed the game and was controversial after the double kick penalty.

This ends the unique record for Arsene Wenger of not getting knocked out in the round of 32 in the FA Cup since his arrival to Arsenal 22 years ago, and it’s the first time in Arsenal’s history since 25 years to get knocked out in this round after the embarrassing performance.
