Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering the possibility of returning his loaned striker again in the current winter transfer window which opened in the beginning of January and it will end in the end of the month.
The English-language newspaper Metro says that Arsene Wenger is considering the return of Spanish striker Lucas Perez, who was loaned to his former team Deportivo La Coruna in the La Liga last summer.
The 29-year-old Spaniard is having a good form with his former side, Deportivo La Coruna, this season where he scored four goals in the Spanish league, La Liga, which is the same number of goals with Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s striker, which is a better number than when he played for the London side, Arsenal, last season and scored only one goal in 11 Premier League matches.
Arsene Wenger’s idea of getting his loaned striker comes back after the reports that he was thinking of allowing Theo Walcott to leave Arsenal in January to another club on loan.
Wenger wants to strengthen the squad after the injury of Olivier Giroud and the possibility of Alexis Sanchez also leaving the team during the current transfer windoes.
