Liverpool’ manager Jurgen Klopp has commented to the media about his player Philippe Coutinho who has left for Barcelona yesterday.
Jurgen Klopp said after the official announcement of Philippe Coutinho’s departure:”I would like to tell Liverpool fans that we did everything we can to convince Philippe Coutinho to stay with us, but he wanted to move because he dreamed of playing for Barcelona,”
Klopp continued:”Philippe Coutinho wanted to go to Barcelona since last July and he insisted on moving to them, Philippe Coutinho belongs to Barcelona no. This is football, players will come and players will go, as a club, we are big enough and strong enough to continue to progress and achieve our goals even when we lose an important player like Philippe Coutinho.”
Philippe Coutinho has already played with Luiz Suarez when he was in Liverpool and they have a good relationship which is expected to be one of the major reasons he was convinced to move to FC Barcelona.
Knowing that FC Barcelona have officially announced the signing of the Brazilian international Philippe Coutinho as Barcelona’s most expensive deal ( around160 million euros). The 24-year old forward, Philippe Coutinho, will sign a five-year contract with a release clause estimated to be around 400 million euros.
