Jose Mourinho, Manchester United’s manager, has apologized to Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the match yesterday against Derby County in the FA Cup.
Jose Mourinho has apologized for the Armenian international for the decision to sub him off in the halftime after the first half where Manchester United won 2-0 in the last minutes of the match.
Jose Mourinho has confessed according to Sky Sports and said:” It wasn’t fair, I don’t like what I did to him, Henrikh Mkhitaryan doesn’t deserve that, he was playing very well.”
Mourinho continued:” I feel that Marcos Rashford didn’t score as well and because of that I decided not to waste time anymore and I had to play Romelu Lukaku, but I had to sub off one player and that was Henrikh Mkhitaryan.”
Knowing that the Armenian international was linked to leave the Old Trafford this month after losing his place in the starting xl and there are several clubs who are showing interest in signing him such as Inter Milan or his former club Borussia Dortmund or even Arsenal from the Premier League.
